On Wednesday evening November 6th, McGinnis Lochridge Partner Clarke Heidrick will be honored by the Boy Scouts of America Capitol Area Council for his inspiring decades long commitment to community service in Austin. The 2019 Distinguished Citizen Award Dinner will be held at the Hilton Austin Hotel.

During his more than 40 years as a highly successful attorney, Clarke has found time to give back to the Austin community serving in leadership roles for numerous organizations around the city. He currently serves as the Executive Chair of the Board of the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest and is Chair of the Boards of Shivers Cancer Foundation and Rebekah Baines Johnson Center. Clarke also serves as a Board Member of the Lowell Lebermann Foundation and Hillside Early Childhood Center, and as the Transportation Chair of the Austin Area Research Organization, of which he was also President. He is the former Chair of the Board of Central Health, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, United Way for Greater Austin, and former Executive Chair of St. Stephen’s Episcopal School.

Clarke has also received accolades for his expertise and achievements as an attorney. He has been named The Best Lawyers in America© Austin Banking and Finance Law Lawyer of the Year, Austin Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year, and Austin Mergers and Acquisitions Law Lawyer of the Year.

Among his proudest achievements are his two daughters, who are accomplished Girl Scouts and his two sons, who are Eagle Scouts.
