As a newcomer to this year’s edition of Benchmark Litigation, but no stranger to the Texas legal community, McGinnis Lochridge is proud to announce four McGinnis Lochridge partners were recognized as Local Litigation Stars for their work in intellectual property and general commercial litigation.

Interviewees remarked, "They are really making a name for themselves, doing great work with a lot of energy cases, but not just the usual type, which are typical for Texas.”

Selected for their abilities in the courtroom, firm partners based in Austin Travis Barton and Carlos Soltero were recognized as intellectual property local litigation stars. Houston based partners Jonathan Baughman and Steven Watkins were recognized as general commercial local litigation stars.

With over 85 years of courtroom experience, McGinnis Lochridge’s peers and clients commended the firm for “making a name for themselves” by consistently “doing good work.”  McGinnis Lochridge lawyers are also known for their mastery of the courtroom and for creative solutions tailored to fit their client’s needs.

Since 2008, Benchmark Litigation continues to be the only publication focusing exclusively on U.S. litigation. Rankings result from the culmination of a six-month research period in which Benchmark researchers conduct interviews with litigators and their clients, in which recent casework handled by the firms is examined and sources are asked to offer their professional opinions on the attorneys practicing within their state or national practice areas.
